8528 was imagined as a singular architectural vision—one where proportion, light and movement were considered from the very beginning. Designed by Métrica Architects and led by studio cofounder Andrés Villaveces, whose work has earned AIA recognition, the residence reflects the firm’s disciplined, site-responsive approach to modern design. Every line and transition was shaped with purpose, creating a residence that feels fluid, composed and entirely its own.
Rooted in years of professional landscape architecture and design experience, ANR Landscape Design approaches each landscape as a considered composition—shaped by architecture, nature, form, texture, movement, light, and season. The studio’s work is contemporary yet enduring, creating gardens that feel intentional, natural, and deeply connected to their setting.
For 8528, that philosophy translates into a landscape conceived as an extension of the architecture itself. The home’s elongated lines and graceful curves are echoed through a restrained palette of mature evergreen shrubs and softly textured ornamental grasses, blending Zen-inspired simplicity with a subtle European influence.
Generously scaled plantings give the landscape an immediate sense of maturity and permanence, while layers of texture and movement bring softness and year-round beauty. Designed to be experienced from within the home as much as from the garden, the landscape carries the architecture outward—creating a quiet, seamless connection between indoors and out.
The architecture & design of 8528 was personally led by Andrés Villaveces, co-founder of Métrica Architects, from its earliest design concepts through construction. Métrica is intentionally a small studio, allowing Andrés to remain deeply involved in every project and every detail—an approach reflected throughout 8528 in its proportion, materiality, precision and architectural continuity.
